They / Them

Angelica is an abstract painter, print-maker and designer, located in Washington state. While Angelica is well-versed in many media, they have developed a deep interest in finding the connections to their ancestry through ethnic/indigenous pattern designs they create. Their niche style in the pattern design world has been described by art curators as bold and engrossing, while gallery/event-goers have a positive mental and therapeutic experience. They are the type of person that always finds a way to push the visual and physical boundaries of their artwork, creating a clothing and decor brand 'Amaizink Art' and on a long term project building an artist/art therapy respite space on 20 acres in WA state. Angelica recently received representation of their pattern designs by the SPMP design studio located in Liverpool, England. In 2019 they were awarded an International Artist-In-Residence program in France, and their work is now apart of a permanent collection at Chateau Orquevaux Art museum in France.
