KindeziCare™ is a Black/Indigenous communal care and young entrepreneur training program. KindeziCare™ embodies the oral tradition and art of Kongo babysitting. Through the KindeziCare™ art of deep creative youth care, we teach medicinal lessons that directly translate to honoring spirit, elders, and the environment. KindeziCare™ was developed for the Tucson historically Black Sugar Hill neighborhood and Families Transformed's TGNC Youth in collaboration with Sadie Shaw of Sugar Hill Community Land Trust and with Lizette Trujillo of Southern Arizona Gender Alliance.
