module 6 ancestor veneration iI

Please continue to move at a pace that is responsive to your body. Consider signing up for Flow Movement Meditation, Thursdays at 6 pm EST, sign up 24 hours in advanced. Flow Movement Meditation can assist you in building a movement practice to support easing body pain. Please start your Epsom salt baths, burning bay leaves for removal and consider sitting with and researching the materia medica for bee balm (monarda), lavender, catnip and tulsi. Our next 30 minute call will be on June 17. I sent a Google calendar link for a recurring 30 minute meeting every other Friday at 4:15 PM EST.

Additionally, let’s expand spiritual hygiene regarding technology and limit screen time 10-30 minutes before sleeping and after waking. Please also begin to draft the words with which you want to begin and end your days.

Since your reflections are gaining greater clarity, next you are working on maintenance. How do you flow with the shifts of the landscapes?

Be sure to use the flower medicine in your home and for your hip bath. “Grow flowers where there was war.”

Continue to plant seeds for your ancestor veneration to happen in waking realm and dream realm. In what ways can you slow down to witness and celebrate the changes that are happening as a new world is being birthed?

Assignment 1: Experience Your Medicine

  • As we experience war, battle fatigue, and the effects of post-capitalism, it is imperative that we find joy. As war survivors, this is what we do - we find a way to keep surviving. We do it together, because we are here to care for ourselves first, then to care for the earth, care for each other and make paths for the next seven generations.

  • What do you need on your path right now to experience abundance? Ask yourself: What do I need right now - spiritually and in terms of care - for myself, and to be able to care well for my community and descendants?

  • Review New Moon Ceremony (New Moon in Cancer 7/20)

Assignment 2: Maintain.

  • Hydrate, organize your dream journal, upkeep your altar.

Assignment 3: Rest and Reflect

Sometimes we are presented with anguish, death and fear on our journeys. As we experience shifts like this, sometimes we might want to consider slowing down and allowing ourselves to feel every part of it. We can allow ourselves to create a bubble of safety for the tide of fear, anger and grief to pass over us. This too is a way to rest.
